Para Mesa, haber estado junto a José Gregorio Pérez "ha sido todo un placer", ya que "uno no tiene todos los días la oportunidad de estar junto a un copiloto del nivel de José Gregorio. Todos en el equipo le estamos muy agradecidos por haber podido disfrutar y aprender de un deportista como él en estas dos pruebas", explicó.
El equipo Marcos Mesa Motor Sport tendrá un mes de parón deportivo ya que no estará presente en la XXXIV Edición del Rally Isla de La Palma, próxima cita del Regional, teniendo previsto correr en el Rally Ciudad de Telde, prueba que se disputará el sábado 28 de julio.
